Background:
This series of original cigarette cards was distributed by Ogden Cigarettes in
England in 1935. The cards portray the steps in a variety of Swimming styles,
including the Breast Stroke, Crawl and Back Stroke.
Each matted print features a series of 6
cards. Accompanying the print is an interesting narrative on the history of the
cigarette card.
The cards are matted with cutouts on both the
front mat and backing board so you can view the image on the card and the accompanying
narrative which appears on the reverse side of the card. |
