Background:

These beautiful prints are from a folio of Scottish Loch scenery based on the drawings of the well-known British natural history and landscape illustrator Alexander Francis Lydon (1836-1917).  We particularly like the level of detail and "atmosphere" Lydon captures in each scene. Note the detail in two of our favorite prints from this series - the crescent moon at sunset over Linlithgow Loch and the tail of the "monster" in Loch Ness (look closely!).
