Our Guarantee

All prints ordered from Prints with a Past are shipped to you "on approval". This means that you have 14 days, from the date of receipt, to enjoy the print in your home or office.

If you are not satisfied with the print for any reason, return it to us for a full credit (refund does not include the shipping charge).  We request that you notify us by Email or phone prior to returning the print.

We respect the privacy of all customer data.  The data collected when processing your order will only be used in fulfilling the order and in customer communication.  We do not share, nor sell, customer data to any third party.

Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal (to learn more about the PayPal service visit www.paypal.com), or Check.

We offer a number of options for ordering your print:

Online Shopping Cart

We now provide a "shopping cart" to order your prints online.  At present this is available for the new series of prints on our Web site, though over the next few months we expect to have it available for all prints on the site.

All online orders are processed on our secure Internet service to insure the privacy of your data.

The process is very straightforward:

• When you click on the "thumbnail" image to view an enlargement of a print, you will see the Add to Cart button.  Just click on this button to add the print to your order:

You can order just the Print or the Matted Print through the shopping cart.  We request that you phone us to order Framed Prints so we can review the selection of moulding with you (see below - Ordering by Phone).

• You can either Continue Shopping or Check Out by clicking on the appropriate button on the screen.

• At Check Out, you can delete any prints that were inadvertently ordered.

It's that simple - and secure!

Ordering by Phone

To order a print by phone, please call us toll free in North America at 1-800-239-5506 (1-509-443-2201 outside of North America). Our studio hours are 6 AM - 9 PM PST, 7 days a week.  If you should call at other times, please leave your name and phone number on our voice mail system and we will call you back to get the order details.

Ordering by Fax

If you want to send your order by fax (1-509-443-1559, please include:

1. Type of card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express)
2. Credit card number
3. Expiration date
4. Your full name as it appears on the card
5. Address to which the print should be shipped

Ordering by Check

You can also pay by check or money order, however shipment of the print will be made after the check clears.  Please mail the check to:

Washington State Residents

If you live in Washington State we will add 7.8% Sales Tax for the total of the prints ordered (prior to shipping charges).

Most prints are shipped within a week of receiving your order. Some orders may require more time, particularly those that require framing.  If you need your order shipped by a specific date (e.g. for a gift), let us know.

Shipments are by 3-day Priority Mail.  We also offer overnight Fed Ex delivery service if that is your preferred shipment method.

We take great care in packing prints to insure they arrive in good condition:

• Prints which are not framed are placed in a plastic sleeve with an acid-free backing board, inserted between two sheets of cardboard and placed in a padded mailing envelope.
• Framed prints are wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed in a box surrounded by shredded paper.

Shipping charges are as follows:

• Domestic US (Priority Mail)

          Print Only/Matted Prints - $5.50 for the first print, $1.50 for each additional print
          Framed Prints - $14 per print

• International, including Canada (Air Mail)

          Print Only/Matted Print - $7 for the first print, $1.50 for each additional print
          Framed Prints - Quoted on request

• Fed Ex (Domestic and International)

          Quoted on request

Gift Certificates

Are you looking to give a friend or family member a print as a gift, though are unsure which print to give them?  Prints with a Past offers Gift Certificates in any denomination you choose for gift giving.  The Certificate is customized with the name of the recipient, your name and a customized greeting of your choosing, along with a brochure explaining how they can access the Prints with a Past Web site.

The recipient can use the Certificate towards the purchase of any print shown on our Website.

Print Certificate

We provide with many prints a certificate providing background data on the print you have purchased including title, series, country of origin, date, type of print and artist (if known).

This informative certificate is ideal for placing on the back of the print once it is framed.
