These whimsical prints are from the First Edition of the Wild Flower Children
from 1918 and portray a variety of flowers through illustrations and poems. The
series presents "the little brothers and sisters of the Flower Children, who live in
the woods and the fields and are the little playmates of the fairies".
The illustrations are by Janet Scott, and the
accompanying poem is by Elizabeth Gordon. |
