Background:

These prints are from a charming pictorial railroad tour volume published during the first decade of passenger rail travel in France.  The prints, based on illustrations by N. Provost, portray scenery the traveler would see during the train trip from Paris to Versailles including buildings, parks, gardens and fountains.

We will provide with each print a copy of the accompanying railroad map showing the route of travel from Paris to Versailles.
